No. CCM is not for everyone. We work best with organizations that are not interested in worrying about all of the ins and outs of how a website works. We are not really a good fit for businesses that are just wanting a "brochure site". We are a creative agency that focuses on providing our clients the very best in branding, website design, video production and social media management. We want to become your marketing partner. We want to create a digital marketing strategy that will drive the right customers to your website and generate business for you. CCM was launched in October of 2007.
One of the most frequent questions we get about our services is the cost. And we take that as a positive cue that you are interested enough to want to know if our services are affordable. Its’s okay to ask this question. It really is. Decision makers will ask us: What does building a website cost? What will a social media strategy cost? How much do you charge for a logo design? Cost is always an appropriate question to ask any agency. However, the answer is never clear-cut and depends on several factors, including:
What are your goals? This greatly determines the time and tools necessary to achieve those goals.
What are your resources? Can you handle everything in-house, or will you need to outsource some of the work? All of the work?
What is the length of the project? Obviously, a 6-month project will cost more than a 3-month project.
From our point of view as an agency, we are looking at how much work is involved, and what type of work, when we get to the point of submitting to you a formal proposal. We have a proven process that helps us to understand your story and then to take the appropriate steps to help you tell it.
One word of caution; If you contact a consultant or marketing firm about doing any level of work for your business or nonprofit, they SHOULD ask you several questions before they can give you a price. If a business contacts us and asks “Ok, what’s it going to cost us to launch a social media campaign?”, then we can’t answer that question without more information. And here’s a tip; If you ask a consultant/agency how much it will cost to build a website or create a brand presence for you and they immediately quote you a price, that is a big red flag. They can’t answer that question until they know your resources and goals. That is why we are adamant here at CCM about starting all of our relationships with a conversation. We do not have an hourly fee. All projects are priced with a fixed fee or a monthly retainer.
Yes. All of our websites are developed and hosted on the WordPress CMS platform which includes both the CMS software and cloud-based hosting. You will be charged a monthly hosting and maintenance fee.
The clock officially starts ticking once the initial deposit has been satisfied. Once this step has been initiated, our team kicks it into gear and gets to work on your website. Site creation is a dance between our team and you the client. You must be prepared to submit to us all of the necessary files and pieces of information if your website is to go live on the date that you are shooting for.
Keep in mind, this is your site being developed. If it isn’t going up fast enough to suit you, definitely and politely inquire, but before you do, consider the entire picture.
Your project will involve many moving parts, well actually many talented moving humans. One of the most important persons in this whole development mix is: YOU! We need you, your input and your consistent cooperation! With good client cooperation a rough estimate to live date averages 12-16 weeks depending on the site. We’ve actually launched websites in less than 4 weeks. Rare, but it can be done. The time frame to completion is dependent upon the size of the site, what features you’ve requested, how involved it may be and any number of other factors including circumstances the CCM team has absolutely no control over.
Many people are understandably, in a big hurry to get started. Why when we send them their contract, does it take several weeks or even months to get it back, signed and ready to go? We honestly have no idea. Giving us what we need to do your job in a timely fashion will absolutely speed up the process. To help manage every client project we utilize a project management system called Trello. The clients we work with love it! And we think you will too!
We want to complete your site just as quickly (if not faster) as you! We are serious about our work and about pleasing you. We do realize you’re paying us your hard earned money, which by the way we appreciate more than we can ever tell you! The last thing we want is to disappoint you.
